Concept & Execution

Socio Mind took up a noble initiative of providing make-up help to the less privileged brides at the Samuhik Vivaah in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh.

We understand that every bride wants to look beautiful on her wedding day and invests a lot of thought into how she can look the best. Socio Mind understand the situation of brides who dream of looking the best, but don’t have the financial support or the thought to execute it.

We purposely chose brides who were getting married at the Samuhik Vivaah, which is arranged by the marriage trust/bureau wherein a parent can conduct their son/daughter’s marriage at a very low cost.

We targeted Kanpur primarily and its various touch points like Purana Kanpur, Magzeen Ghat, Vijay Nagar, Juhi Rakhi mandi, Gujaini, Dada Nagar, Chandra Nagar, Chandra Nagar, Sarvodaya Nagar, Kanpur, Haramau Akbarpur and Bangarmau.

In association with the brand, Socio Mind organized facials and bridal makeup for 11 brides, who were convinced by us to be a part in this initiative. We had erected a salon in a van for facials and hired a professional beautician to make this moment memorable for them. Also, we hired a dhol wala and female promoters to welcome these brides.

Social Outcome

  • We transformed ‘Brides’ into ‘Happy Brides’
  • We relieved 11 fathers from the financial stress of make-up

Marketing Outcome

  • Created brand engagement
  • Increased brand visibility at the platform of Samuhik Vivaah
